MLM Reviews

As the economy worsens, more and more people are becoming open to the idea of network marketing. But with so many different opportunities in the market place, it’s hard to know which opportunities are legitimate and which aren’t. Chances are if you’re reading this review, you’re looking for more information on Visalus and the Visalus business opportunity. In this review, I will go into Visalus, their products, their business opportunity and, most importantly, whether or not they are a scam.

Visalus is network marketing company based out of Troy, Michigan and goes back over 10 years. Now, while they are 10 years old, it seems as though they haven’t really hit major momentum yet. If you’re looking into Visalus from a business perspective, this may be a good thing. Why? Because most new network marketing companies never make it past their first 5 years. Since, Visalus is 10 years old, they don’t run the risk of going out of business as much as a new start-up does. However, since they haven’t hit momentum yet, it can still be considered a ground floor opportunity that no one knows about yet.

It’s important to note also that the Visalus coporate team, board members and sales support team have a tremendous amount of experience and documentation in the Direct Selling Industry.  Many of the people involved in Visalus corporate have decades of network marketing experience in various network marketing companies including Herbalife, Mary Kay and Amway. And CEO Ryan Blair, who has led Visalus to an impressive 1,200% growth in it’s first 3 years, has been featured on CNBC, MSNBC, Time Magazine, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal and Forbes magazine.

As far as their products go, they market several science based nutraceuticals that are designed to aid in your overall health and well being. Some of their products include: Trim Slim Shape,  Visalus Neuro and Vi-Pack Anti-Aging and Energy Supplements. Their most marketed product is the Body By Vi Challenge, which is a 90-day weight loss challenge.  On their corporate website, there are plenty of before-and-after pictures and testimonials from people who successfully went through the Body By Vi Challenge.

As far as the compensation plan goes, it operates on a unilevel platform and there are several ways you can make money. The different ways you can make money fall into three categories: Upfront income, residual income and advancement bonuses. There’s also a luxury car program built in as an added incentive.

In closing, Visalus is definitely not a scam, but rather a stable and credible company. They have a top-notch management team, a high quality product and a very lucrative and generous compensation plan. However, simply joining the company will not automatically make you successful. At the end of the day, your success will depend on your ability to generate an endless flow of high quality leads. If you can’t generate leads, which will prevent you from sponsoring the amount of people needed to succeed, you will be dead in the water.

My suggestion is to find a self branded attraction marketing system that will allow you to generate leads, brand yourself as an expert and make immediate profits from people who don’t join your business. If you leverage a marketing system and combine it with the Visalus opportunity, you can be on your way to building a wildly successful business.

Jaime Soriano wrote this Visalus Review for people looking into the Visalus opportunity. Sadly, most Visalus reps will never achieve the success they want because they lack the marketing skills needed to sponsor 10-20 reps a month.
