If you’re reading this review, chances are you are looking for some information on Poker Training Network or thinking about becoming a distributor. Before you do, I want to encourage you to take some time to read this entire review. In it, I will go into some details about the company, products and business opportunity. In addition, I’ll also share how you can position yourself ahead of 95% of your competition, should you decide to join.

First of all, let’s cover some information on the actual company. Poker Training Network, or PTN, is a brand-new company that markets poker training and education products through a network marketing business model. The company is based in Addison, Texas and has distributors nation-wide. While there’s not much information found on the website about the company itself, there is plenty of information on the members of the company’s management team. And, while having a good management team in place doesn’t guarantee a company’s long-term success it does increase the probability that the company will be able to grow and expand. The corporate team members seem to have a lot of experience and documentation. Many members have years and years of experience in direct sales, traditional business and some have even worked with other network marketing companies. For example, Jeff Branch, PTN’s Director Of Finance, co-owned a network marketing company, and Connie Summit, PTN’s Director of Communications, worked extensively with AmeriplanUSA and Worldventures in the past. Overall, the company looks to be in the hands of some very capable people.

As far as their products go, the company sells different poker education and training products. The company owns a proprietary education platform called Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) and also provides a game room for customers of the products to test out what they know. Training products range in price from $14.95 a month to $49.95 a month. Of course, there is more material in the $49.95 a month Poker-TEL package than there is in the $14.95 a month Poker-TEL Lite package. You can also purchase the Poker Edge product for a one-time cost of $299.95, which includes a simulator for you to practice on. I’m not much of a poker player, but looking at what’s included in the training packages, it definitely looks like a lot of good material for someone looking to learn the game, or even someone who’s experienced who wants to take their game to the next level.

Now, let’s go over the business opportunity. You can become a distributor for a one-time fee of $49.95 and $19.95 a month for the Business Builder system. The compensation plan provides 5 different ways to earn income. You can earn income through retail sales, team commission (monthly residual income), matching bonuses on everyone you personally sponsor, Global Leadership Pools and ad revenue sharing packages. There’s also a monthly car bonus you can earn if you achieve the rank of Qualified Black Rounders. The compensation plan looks attractive and, for the right person, Poker Training Network can be a fun and lucrative method of making money.

In closing, Poker Training Network looks like a solid company, that has a great product for the poker niche and also has a generous compensation plan. However, contrary to what you may have been told, that has very little to do with whether you will be successful or not. What really determines whether you will succeed or not, is your ability to personally sponsor other people into your business, your ability to effectively market products and your ability to build a strong group of downline distributors. And, one of the biggest factors to accomplishing those three things is your ability to market. If you don’t have a clue about marketing, you will have a hard time building your business. It’s vital to your success that you get the right marketing training so you can brand yourself and generate an endless flow of quality leads. Of course, you can build your business solely using old school, traditional, offline techniques but, for the average person, calling on your existing friends and family will only take you so far. If you can successfully combine effective offline techniques with the ability to generate leads online, you can very well be on your way to building a wildly prosperous business.

Jaime Soriano wrote this Poker Training Network Review for people looking into the company. Sadly, most PTN reps will never see the success they desire because they lack the marketing skills to generate sufficient leads for their business.
