MLM Reviews

If you’re reading this review, chances are you’re looking for some information on Ambit Energy. In this short but detailed review, I’ll go into who Ambit is as a company, their service, their compensation plan and, most importantly, what it will take for you to truly prosper in a company like Ambit. If you are seriously thinking about joining Ambit, or you’re an existing rep that’s dead-serious about having some type of success with your Ambit business, I would recommend that you read this entire review.

Ambit Energy is a network marketing company that markets energy through a network of independent reps. Their goal is to become the “finest and most respected energy provider in the country”.  The company was started in 2006 by CEO Jere Thompson Jr. and CMO Chris Chambless.  Since the beginning, Ambit has had a pretty fast rise doing $1 million in revenue in it’s first year, $30 million in it’s second year and $196 million in it’s third year.

The corporate team has a tremendous amount of experience, both in the traditional business and network marketing arena. In addition, they have a patented billing and customer platform, which is a good indication that their infrastructure is prepared for long-term growth.

It’s important to note that the big selling point of Ambit Energy is the deregulation of energy, which means that the energy monopolies are being broken up and companies can now compete for customers. Back in the 90’s, telecommunications was deregulated and many companies (both traditional and network marketing companies) were developed and many people who capitalized on deregulation became wealthy. While there’s no guarantee that the same will happen with energy, if history repeats itself, many people can get wealthy by being in the right place at the right time.

As far as their energy service goes, the genius of it is everyone already uses it and if you help someone switch to Ambit, you’re not changing their buying habits. Also, there’s no cost to switch for the customer. In addition, besides saving a couple of dollars in their energy bill, customers receive incentives for switching like monthly travel and rewards points.

It’s important to note that Energy is a $474 billion industry in the US alone, so if you’re interested in starting a business in a thriving industry, Ambit may be for you.

Which leads us to their business opportunity. You can join Ambit for just around $429, with a monthly website fee of $25. You can make money two ways. The first way is upfront immediate income. Depending on your rank in the company, you can earn $100 to $240 when a new rep joins your business and gets qualified within their first 30 days. The second way is monthly residual income you can build for getting customers who continue to pay their monthly bill. Assuming you can consistently sponsor new reps, get them qualified within their first 30 days and teach your team to do the same, you can potentially build a significant income with your Ambit business.

In closing, Ambit is definitely a stable company with a solid opportunity. However, simply joining Ambit will not automatically make you successful. All Ambit provides is an opportunity. Ultimately, your success will depend on your ability to generate an endless flow of leads, which will result in your ability to sponsor 10-20 reps a month. Can you succeed in Ambit by sponsoring 1 or 2 people a month? It’s possible but not probable. By sponsoring 10-20 reps a month, your success will be inevitable. My suggestion is to use a self branding attraction marketing system that will equip you with the marketing skills to sponsor the amount of people you need to win.

Jaime Soriano wrote this Ambit Energy Review for people looking into the Ambit opportunity. Sadly, most Ambit reps will never achieve the success they want because they lack the marketing skills needed to sponsor 10-20 reps a month.
